How does stress turn
into a tragic suicide?
Among all creatures, only humans commit suicide out of despair. That isn’t normal at all. That is abnormal!
Animal Emotions
Animals feel sad and anxious like humans. Studies show they can feel helpless. Yet they don’t commit suicide out of despair.
Animal Empathy
Animals can be affectionate and caring for other animals and humans who are sick or stressed out. They also grieve for others.
Animal Brains Differ
An animal can give up its life to help someone else, but their brains don’t cause them to commit suicide out of despair.
Even suicide isn’t normal for humans. So how and why does it happen?
Crisis
When a human can’t think of solutions, their stresses build into one or more crises.
Demoralization
A crisis is a situation which we humans think that no one can, could, or will solve with us or solve for us.
Tunnel Vision
When humans feel hopeless and helpless, they unfortunately develop tunnel vision in the wrong direction.
Suicide Attempts
The tunnel vision often brings humans in the wrong disastrous direction which is the opposite of their real life goals.
Lost Love
When a human’s brain is hijacked by despair, they often forget that someone truly does care for them.
Lost Opportunities
When a human’s brain is hijacked by despair, their Frontal Lobe cannot realize the real opportunities and solutions for success.
How can humans be helped?
Avoid the Wrong Door
Tunnel vision makes us think that there is only one path and one door. The reality is that we all have numerous choices.
Realizing Opportunities
Other people can help us realize that our losses or humiliation aren’t impossible to recover from. Better possibilities can exist.
Change for the Better
When we finally realize that we do have other choices, possible chances, and help, then we can change for the better.
Try Other Doors & Paths
Because new doors and paths might look quite different, we should use help and mentorship from others.
Get Help
To get help, we must be humble our own egos. Humility will then help us to ask for help which will actually benefit our egos.
Build/Rebuild Success
Building and rebuilding anything is always easier when an individual has help from people who are dedicated to help.
